I was employed by Revel Fox & Partners as part of Foreshore
Architects to work on the Convention Centre. I ended up being
responsible for the design & construction of the ballroom,
a dividable functions hall .

‘function’ is expressed as a separate structure. The
ballroom forms a bridge, anchored on either side by two service
cores that connect the hotel & auditorium with the rest of
the convention centre. The structure of the building is expressed
